Nigeria's Best And Worst Banks 2014


Nigeria’s GT Bank Plc which ranks amongst the World's top 1000 has clinched the ‘Best Bank in Nigeria’ and ‘Best Bank in Africa’ awards at the 2014 Euro money Awards in London.
The Euro money magazine a monthly financial magazine focused on business and finance covering global banking, macroeconomics and capital markets, including debt and equity made the announcement on Saturday July 12, 2014.

The magazine recognizes financial institutions worldwide that have recorded significant feats within their operating environments, continuously display innovation and record excellent financial performance year on year.

Mr. Clive Horwood, the Euro money Magazine’s Editor, said GTBank stands out this year not only because of the bank’s stellar performance in its home country, but precisely because the bank represents a new standard of local expertise in Nigeria, which is successfully delivering on its regional ambitions.

Receiving the awards on behalf of GTBank was Segun Agbaje, Group Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank plc.
