Boko Haram Attacks Adamawa Village, Kills Scores

Boko Haram group have invaded new communities in Adamawa State near the border of Borno State, inside Madagali local government area. The latest attack comes 48hours after they over ran the police training camp in Limankara village under Gwoza local government area.

The casualty count for the recent invasion of Adamawa State is said to be unknown but sources on the ground believe that it will be high. According to one of the sources, the “attack was the heaviest” to date.

"The Nigerian security agents ran away for their lives leaving us to face Boko Haram by ourselves. I would not be surprised if the number of dead people exceed 200".

The Executive Chairman of Madagali local government area, Mr. James Abawu Watharda confirmed the attack. He said that Boko Haram invaded the many communities in his LGA. He explained that the level of sophistry of the group has reached an alarming level, in the manner they brazenly move into communities with high powered weapons to overpower Nigerian security operatives and hoisting their flags.

It was also learnt that the Jihadist group moved into the communities with the AK47 at full blast, shooting at everything in their way and burning down every strucure. Unlike their other attacks, eyewitnesses indicated that their numbers were very large.

"They attacked from different locations an hoisted their flags at every high point. Many people were shot."
