10-year-old boy kills 90-year-old woman with her cane for shouting at him

A young boy of Pennsylvania, was arrested and is being held without bail after killing a woman.

The 10-year-old boy has been charged with murder after police said he confessed to beating 90-year-old Helen Novak, to death.

Tristen Kurilla of Damascus Township, was visiting his grandfather last Saturday, when the elderly woman shouted at
him.

According to the police report, Kurilla grabbed the woman’s wooden walking cane and wrapped it around her neck. He then allegedly punched her numerous times in the throat, causing her death.

Kurilla’s grandfather was the caretaker of the 90-year-old woman.

Despite his young age, Kurilla is being be charged as an adult for the murder, and he is being held without bail, according to the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office.
