Faces of the 2 cousins behind Jerusalem synagogue massacre

Pictured are the two fanatical Palestinian cousins behind the horrific dawn attack at the Kehilat Yaakov synagogue on Agasi Street which left a four dead and several injured. The assailants, named Uday and Rassan Abu Jamal, both in their 20s, burst into the synagogue armed with axes and guns just before 7am as up to 30 worshippers gathered for prayers.

They were said to have screamed 'God is great' as they attacked at random. The two terrorists were later shot dead by the Israelites’ police who arrived at the scene of the attack.  Uday and Rassan Abu Jamal are said to be close relatives of a Hamas terrorist who was released in 2011 as part of the exchange deal for the captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, according to Israeli radio.

The attack has been described as the deadliest in Israel since a Palestinian assailant killed eight students at a Jewish seminar in March 2008.
