According to info on Sunday early morning severely injured following a daring raid by a machete-wielding gang at the Nyali barracks in Mombasa Kenya.
Soldiers on sentry duties responded by killing five attackers on the spot as the rest of the gang disappeared in a nearby forest.
The soldiers pursued those who had escaped where they killed one more and arrested another.
The gang of about 10 -20 men had adorned head gears during the attack at the 17 Kenya Rifles barracks in Nyali, Mombasa.

Source says investigations are under way to establish if the attack is linked to al-Shabaab, which Kenya’s army is fighting in neighboring Somalia, or the Mombasa Republican Council, which seeks autonomy for the coastal region
This is the differnce between Nigeriab and other less sentimental countries, where everything is viewed as politics of region.
