A
 3-year-old boy in Cleveland on Sunday shot his baby sibling dead when a
 gun that he picked up went off and hit the 1-year-old in the face. The
baby sibling was pronounced dead in the hospital. Investigators
 say they’re trying to determine where the gun, left unattended in the
house, came from. Although full details on the incident are yet to be
released, police said that  at least one adult was home at the time of the incident.
Speaking at the scene, Cleveland Police Chief, Calvin Williams, said gun culture in the US had to end;
"It's
 a sad day for Cleveland.Currently we're investigating where this
firearm came from. We're also investigating how this tragedy actually
happened. Everybody has to know that this fascination that we have with
handguns, not just in this city but in this country, has to stop. This
is a senseless loss of life and it's directly related to guns," he
said.
Cleveland.com
 reported the boys' mother could be heard screaming on the back porch
after learning her child had died. Neighbours said the mother lived in
the house with at least three small children.
