She did it! Serena Williams clinches the 6th Wimbledon title (photos)


Serena Williams has emerged winner of the 6th Wimbledon title by beating 21-year-old Spaniard opponent Garbine Muguruza in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. In winning the championship, Williams is one step away from achieving a calendar Grand Slam, holding the titles for the world's four major tournaments in one year. She also becomes the oldest ever Wimbledon champion at the age of 33.  More photos after cut…
