Nigerian Reggae-dancehall singer Damini
Ogulu known by his stage name Burna
Boy who was officially signed with the record label in 2011 has
parted ways with the record label, Aristokrat Records that brought him to
limelight.
According to a source, the ‘Yawa Dey Oh’ crooner is no
longer with AR as revealed by his new video, ‘Don Gorgon’ which does not have
AR imprint.
To add credence to this notion, AR in-house producer, Lenq
didn’t produce the song and Burna Boy’s debut album L.I.F.E was entirely
produced by Lenq. There may have been no love lost between the duo as the
record label has removed everything about Burna on its social media.
The friction may have stemmed from Burna Boy’s lifestyle and
his mother’s deep involvement in his career.
Recently, Damini Ogulu (his real name) who came into the
music scene with ‘Like To Party’ hit single fired his mum as manager
