To some residents of Lagos, Mushin area of the state is
believed to be a place where hoodlums and youths with no future ambition
are bred, but someone like Kofo Akintoye and others before her have
shown that ‘good thing can still come out of Jerusalem’.
Kofo,
who is popularly known as Inspire, is set to change the image of
Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye in Mushin and become the first female superstar to
emerge from the area by winning the MTN Project Fame West Africa Season
7.0.
Respected for her vocal and keyboard strengths, Kofo is
described as a songstress. According to her, she was evicted at the
semi-finals of same competition last year, but this year, she is ready
to prove to
the judges that their comments last year have made her a
better person.
Speaking on her boyfriend, Ninalowo Boladale, a
concept developer and DT Browns manager, Kofo described him as “my
guardian angel”.
Boladale is Nigerian based in South Africa, who
is also the CEO of Sound Sea Entertainment, a division of Shetade
Images, who Kofo also said “has always been there for me, I love him so
much.”
Kofo is the first daughter of a family of six, who lost her mother in 2013.
So
far in the competition, she has have proven to be a winner, and some
have already tipped her to be the next Chidinma, who was fantastic at
the competition’s season three.
