The Defence Headquarters has issued a warning on recruitment scam
against the armed forces. According to the information disclosed, a
high profile internet fraudster, impersonating a Senior Officer on
Facebook is demanding N120, 000 from unemployed Nigerian youths for a
recruitment in the armed forces. Such demand and recruitment are clearly
stated to be fake and fraudulent.
Defence Headquarters therfore warns the general public to beware of such individuals with their cloning strategies.
"SCAM: Beware of Criminals impersonating Senior Officers on Facebook,
said to demand N120000 through surrogates for Armed Forces
#recruitment," they stated.
