Come October 2014, a new play by Professor Ahmed Yerima, ‘The Wives’, will be showcased to the audience in Lagos. From information made available to Nigeriafilms.com, ‘The Wives’ will show at the Muson Centre in Onikan, Lagos from October 9, 10 and 11 October, 2014.
The play focuses on the character, Chief Theophilus Gbadegeshin Olowookere, his sister and his three wives, Angela, Cecilia and Tobi.
Notable actors like Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Jide Kosoko, Iretiola Doyle, Kemi Lala Akindoju and others are all in the project.
The author, Ahmed Yerima was General Manager of the National Theatre of Nigeria and Artistic Director of National Troupe of Nigeria.
