Delectable costumes, Flashing lights, mirthful conversation and lots of networking were the synonyms of Silverbird Galleria, Lagos on Friday, 15 August as Ghollywood screen siren, Yvonne Nelson’s new movie titled Single, Married and Complicated premiered amidst much pomp and pageantry before an audience of movie lovers and celebrities.

 

The new cinematic experience which is by no means a run off the mill production parades one of Nigerian fastest rising actors’ Alexx Ekubo as one of the acts to the movie which is a sequel of Single and Married.

The star-studded premiere was attended by the crème of the Nigeria entertainment industry and other industry captains who turned out to support Yvonne Nelson’s fourth effort as a producer. Celebrities that strutted the red carpet included Rukky Sanda, IK Ogbonna and his Columbian Girlfriend, Sasha, Annie Idibia, Tana Adelana, Alexx Ekubo, Emem Isong, Tee A to name a few.

The steamy romantic comedy which was produced by Yvonne Nelson Productions is written and directed by award winning director, Pascal Amanfo was described by Yvonne Nelson as a natural follow up of all to give a possibly sweet finish to a great tale. She said the movie could be likened to its original because it is no holds barred movie loaded with excitement and that movie enthusiast should brace up for a thrilling experience in the cinemas.

“I envisioned this movie to have lots of laugh out loud moments and loads of excitement. I am happy movie enthusiasts who came tonight had a thrilling experience and they got what I envisioned if not an overdose of that,” said Nelson after the premiere.

The movie described as a sweet romance between Nigeria and Ghana features an eclectic mix of stars from both countries and they include; The star-studded movie which features Yvonne Nelson supported by an all-star cast from Nigeria and Ghana including Chris Attoh, Eddie Watson, Anita Erskine, and Tana Adelana who were part of the original movie while John Dumelo, John Gardiner, Alexx Ekubo and Eazzy join the team to make for an even more interesting sequel.

Guests described the movie as a must see for all movie lovers especially for couples, whether already married or dating.
