Woman Sets Boyfriend On Fire In Ondo

Ajowele Busayo, A 23-year-old woman in Ondo has been arrested and taken before a court in the state after she was accused of killing her lover, Vanguard reports.

The woman who is a primary school teacher, was said to have set one Anthony David on fire in the Basiri Area of Akure, the state capital.
The Prosecutor, ASP Ayodele Atandeyi, reportedly told the court that Awojele committed the crime on July 14 at about 9.00 a.m.

The victim was rushed to a hospital after the incident but he succumbed to his injuries and died.

The court has ordered that the suspect be remanded at the Olokuta prison pending the determination of the case.
