7 Course Men Found as Search for Missing 35 Policemen Intensifies

Following the search that was launched to find the 35 policemen abducted by Boko Haram men, during a surprised attack on Police Mobile Force Training School, Gwoza, Borno state, 7 course men have been rescued and brought to safety. While the search for remaining 28 is being intensified.

It will be recalled that a ferocious attack earlier launched on the Training camp by insurgents on August 7, 2014 was repelled by the Police.

On August 20, 2014, the attackers launched a fresh offensive that lasted for several hours, where the Policemen on duty engaged them in a fierce battle. It was discovered that 35 policemen were missing after the attack.
