Nwachukwu’s sizzling romance with singer Saeon has hit the rocks. The
erstwhile lovebirds who have been dating since 2012 went their separate
ways about 2 months ago but their breakup just filtered to the media few
days ago. Neither Uti nor Saeon has confirmed or denied the breakup.
When Encomium enquired about their breakup via an SMS message on Sunday,
August 31, Uti simply replied: “People should believe whatever will
make them love and support us more.” Neither Saeon was forthcoming:
“Uti
is just a friend whom I have known for a couple of years. He’s an
amazing person and very dedicated to work. We have been working together
for years, and we are still working together,” she told Encomium.
In
February, 2014, the BBA winner and Jara presenter told Encomium that he
met Saeon in 2012 during the shooting of her music video and that the
affair was facilitated by a mutual friend.
Encomium also contacted the ex lovebirds’ close friend to ascertain the reason for the break…
“It
could be you guys, I mean, the media! That’s only what I can say. I
think Uti and Saeon should just take a bold step and tell the world why
their relationship collapsed,” he said.
This is the first time Uti will be associated with a lady. I was really hoping it works out for them…
