A female suicide bomber has reportedly blown up herself at a mobile phone market in Azare area of Bauchi State.
AFP reports that several people are feared dead in the attack which occurred on Sunday
According to a witness, who spoke on condition of anonymity, a suicide bomber came into the market as it was closing and blew herself up in the middle of all the merchants and their customers.
Another witness, who gave his name as Alyu Habib said he saw at least eight people dead with several others injured in the blast.
Meanwhile, Leadership has reported that the bomb blast killed 25 people with 64 others injured.

It would be recalled that on November 8, 2014, a female suicide bomber at about 10 am reportedly, blew herself up in the midst of bank customers at the First Bank, Azare, Bauchi State while banking transactions were going on.
Seven people were reportedly killed in the attack while ten others sustained various degrees of injuries.
Meanwhile, this bomb blast is coming in hours after the Nigerian military reportedly took control of Chibok town in Borno State following a successful operation that led to the ousting the extremist sect, Boko Haram after the town was taken over by the terrorists on Thursday night.
The sect members on Saturday reportedly invaded Hong Local Government area of Adamawa State unrestricted.
