BREAKING NEWS Boko Haram Attacks Chibok Again, Kills Many

Members of the blood thirsty terrorists group, Boko Haram have again launched an offensive attack in Chibok community in Borno State.

Sahara Reporters said the attack claimed a yet to be ascertained number of lives, adding that many villagers fled through bush paths to neighbouring Damboa town after Nigerian military troops reportedly fled the village.
A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the attack took place on Thursday night, adding that the terrorists group stormed the town and started shooting sporadically before moving to the village center to announce it has taken it over as part of its Islamist caliphate.

The development sparked a lot of controversy, which is lingering on due to the inability of the Federal Government to rescue and bring back the girls to their parents.

Meanwhile, on October 17, 2014, hopes for the girls release were raised when the Federal Government announced an alleged ceasefire deal with the terrorists group.  The alleged ceasefire deal, however, worsen the situation of things as the sect member unleashed their full wrath on innocent Nigerians in the north-eastern part of the country before itsleader, Abubakar Shekau released a new video and debunked any truce with the Nigerian government.
The Boko Haram terrorist group is against western education following it’s believed that it is the cause of criminal behaviour in the country. The sect has killed thousands of innocent civilian since it began its war against the Nigerian government in 2009.
The federal government on May 2013, declared a state of emergency in Borno State following repeated attacks from the sect but unfortunately the state of emergency has not yielded the desired result.
In a reaction, President Goodluck Jonathan recently increased the number of security personnel fighting the insurgents in the North Eastern part of the country with the aim of in a bid putting an end to their menace.
Just recently, Borno State deputy governor, Alhaji Zanna Umar Mustapha, expressed fears that with the tactics the Boko Haram terrorists are using to sieze lands in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states, in the next two or three months the three North-Eastern states would be history.
