Two fierce-looking bandits at the weekend met their waterloo in the hands of policemen from Ebrumede station in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
Nemesis caught up with the robbers whose names could not be ascertained as at press time. They were gunned down at 9am.
Sources said an unsuspecting salesgirl at a phone plaza close to the police station was robbed of several Nokia and phone items, including IPAD, cables, Black-berry phones and a lot of other valuables running into millions of Naira.

The bandits met their shameful end when a distress call sent to the police prompted a quick reaction as they engaged the bandits in a gun fight that sent the robbers to their early grave,sun reports.
The Divisional Police Officer, CSP Ukoh Nkerevwyhen, said when his men got the signal, they rushed to the scene where the two bandits were gunned down. “We are not relenting in our effort in ensuring that bad boys flee from this zone. We will continue to follow the directive of the state Police Commissioner, Alkali Baba, in ensuring that robbers are dealt with decisively and send them down to the bottomless pit,” he said.
According to him, robbers have been terrorizing the area, but we have since silenced them with our regular patrols of the area and ceaseless effort in dealing with them.” With this, we are sending a warning signal to others to flee from this area, the DPO said.
He disclosed that the stolen items from the phone plaza have been recovered, even as efforts are still being made to fish out other bad boys that do not want peace in the area.
